No coupon exists, but the free month is real
The one discount you can trigger yourself is the referral program: one free month of service, credited roughly 30 days after activation. Sites advertising “Starlink promo codes” are either recycling that same link or selling nothing at all.
Why Starlink has no promo codes
Starlink sells direct, with no resellers and no coupon campaigns. There is no promo code box at checkout. That’s deliberate: discounts are applied automatically based on your service address, because pricing follows network capacity over your particular location.
Two households an hour apart can see two different offers on the same day. It’s confusing, but it’s exactly why a universal code would be meaningless.
Pages promising “50% off with code STARLINK50” are selling air. At best they’ve wrapped an ordinary referral link; at worst they’re harvesting your email. No manually entered code works on starlink.com, because the field doesn’t exist.

This is not a discount at checkout. You pay your first month normally and the credit appears afterward. Cancel before then and you forfeit it. The program also requires that you’ve never been a Starlink customer: a closed account from years ago still disqualifies you.
Free hardware: read the fine print
Across much of Canada, Starlink offers the dish at no upfront cost to new customers. It’s the largest discount available and it applies automatically if your address qualifies.
The catch: in that case the equipment is rented, not sold. It remains Starlink’s property and must be returned if you cancel. That changes three things: you can’t resell the dish, standby mode generally isn’t available to renters, and a missed return gets billed.
